We are considering retiring Luna from our breeding program after this litter (late 2007). If you would be intrested in Luna after the first of 2008, please email me and make an offer. She will go with breeding rights and is CKC registered. We are only thinking of placing her as we want to move to the AKC and show quailty pups. We did weigh her 9/22 and she is close to 12 pounds now, but is about 2 pounds overweight I think. At 18 months she was close to 9.5 pounds. She is a longer bodied chi and her legs aren't real long. She has had 3 litters with us so far, one of 4, one of 5 and one of 6. She has had blues, blacks, whites and lilacs, with tan trim. Some were self colored and some were irish marked. Her smallest was 4.5 pounds grown, and her largest was 12 pounds grown. The 12 pound pup was in her very first litter with a 5.5 pound male. She is a free whelper and tends to have her pups very quickley. Her last litter of 6 was born in 2 hours, 47 mintues! She is a good mom, but likes to wean her pups at 5-7 weeks of age. She is a very loving girl. Her mom is a dilute chocolate and her dad is Rico a fawn and white, black sable. Her full sister is Muchacha. Her half sisters are Sparkles and Minnie.
